How does the AI WhatsApp reply work?
When a parent sends a WhatsApp message, Pathshala's AI (powered by Claude) auto-detects their language and generates a relevant response using your school's pre-loaded knowledge base — fees, admission process, facilities. If a pre-uploaded PDF matches the question (like "fees structure"), the AI sends that PDF instead, saving costs.
Is my school's data safe?
Yes. Each school gets its own isolated database. Multi-tenant SaaS architecture ensures data privacy. SSL encryption for all data in transit. Hosted on enterprise-grade Indian cloud infrastructure.
Can the owner override the AI and reply manually?
Yes. From the inquiry detail page, the owner can type a WhatsApp message and send it directly — like WhatsApp Web. When the owner is actively replying, the AI auto-pauses for 30 minutes. Owner can resume AI mode anytime.
Is Pathshala suitable for a school with 200 students?
Yes. Pathshala is designed specifically for schools with 200-1000 students. Larger metro schools may need enterprise features. Smaller schools benefit most from our affordable WhatsApp automation.
